As an independent bridal boutique, we offer personalised appointments, dedicated bridal stylists, designer wedding dresses and thorough aftercare. Our aim is to ensure every bride receives expert support throughout her wedding dress journey.

Special Day Bridal is the only bridal boutique serving the Bristol and Bath area that is a member of the Retail Bridalwear Association (RBA) which gives you the peace of mind to buy with us. *

Independent bridal boutiques offer a more personal experience, with dedicated appointments, expert styling advice and carefully curated collections. At Special Day Bridal, every appointment is focused entirely on helping you find the right wedding dress for your style, venue and budget.

Special Day Bridal offers a calm, appointment only experience in our boutique in Keynsham between Bristol and Bath, where every bride receives dedicated one-to-one time with an experienced stylist. Rather than a high-volume or rushed approach, appointments are carefully paced so each bride can explore styles that genuinely suit her shape, venue and budget.

We also offer in-house seamstresses, allowing alterations to be managed on site, along with a carefully curated selection of designer wedding dresses rather than mass stocked collections. For brides with shorter timelines, our Take Me Today collection is available to purchase and take home immediately.

As an independently run boutique, we focus on honest, practical guidance from first appointment through to final fitting, helping brides feel confident at every stage of the process.

Yes, we work by appointment only. You will have your own personal stylist and your own dedicated appointment focused entirely on you, this means you will have no pressure and ample time to find a perfect dress.

We also have one private suite which has room for yourself and 5 guests. Please specify this suite when making your appointment booking.

There is a £25 charge for appointments on Saturdays, and if the private suite is available you can book this with no additional charge.

There is no charge for weekday appointments in our standard sized suites, but if you desire the private suite (for up to 5 guests) there is a £25 charge.

Please note fees are refundable on purchase.

Otherwise all you simply need to bring an open mind and excitement for the fun that is wedding dress shopping! Your stylist will listen carefully to any ideas that you already have and they will be able to make dress suggestions that they know will be the very best specifically for you.

You may also want to have something to refer back to when you get home. But do remember though that mobile phones don’t always take a perfect photo and can often not truly reflect what the dress really looked like at the time. So in these situations we suggest that you take photos of your very favourites more as an “aide-mémoire”.

It is never too early to start looking for your wedding dress! You also shouldn’t leave it too late as your dress will be made especially for you, it can take 6 months for the dress to arrive, plus there needs to be time for fittings and alterations to ensure that it is the perfect fit for you.

Of course if time really is tight we also have a “Take Me Today” range of gorgeous gowns which you can purchase and take home on the same day.

We stock designer wedding dresses from Stella York, Essense of Australia and Morilee, giving brides a choice of contemporary, classic and romantic styles. During your appointment your stylist will help you discover the dresses that best suit your style, venue, shape and budget.

Don’t worry. We offer a beautiful Take Me Today collection of wedding dresses that can be purchased and taken home immediately. This is a popular option for brides with shorter engagement timelines.

If you have seen a dress from a shop that is a distance away from your home and it is from a designer that we stock then we will be able to order the dress for you if you wish to remain local.

Please do be aware though that once the dress has been reduced to the target size we ask you to try and maintain the same weight. This occurs at approximately 4 weeks prior to your wedding.

A Take Me Today wedding dress is available to purchase and take home immediately rather than being specially ordered from the designer.

Yes. If you choose a dress from our Take Me Today collection, you can usually take it home the same day.

Many Take Me Today wedding dresses offer excellent value while still providing designer quality and style.

Our Take Me Today collection ranges from approximately £399 to £1,000, while our made-to-order designer collections start from around £799.

Yes. You will need to book an appointment so that you can enjoy one-to-one advice from a personal stylist.

Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom appointments typically last one hour where your assigned personal stylist will help advise on outfits, shoes, hatinators and handbags.

Our designer Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom collections typically range from approximately £199 to £900.

We also offer selected end-of-season styles starting from around £50.

We stock outfits from the following carefully selected designers Veni Infantino, John Charles, Kevan Jon and Lizabella.

Please note the designer collections we stock are exclusive to us and not available online or on the high street. We have 2 collections a year, arriving in January and August. For each style we order one size and once sold we cannot reorder, this ensures we don’t saturate the label. So if one of our designs captures your heart, we recommend purchasing on the day to avoid future disappointment!
